Description |
Much longer 3rd movement. Someone said, "You can't see the sunset on the east coast!". You can if your on Cape Cod on the bay side looking at Plymouth and Provincetown. Basically this pieces images are Late Aftermnoon around 4 when one's energy is low. Then Zephyr, a breeze in the trees as one walks to the bay. Atlantic Sunset with the blazing reds and oranges, the ripples on the nearby water slight repeats of both earlier movements and a Sunset finish. One holds down certain notes before the pedal is released to give an "afterglow". |
